Behind the Books
I’ve been writing stories and poems for most of my life—though I didn’t write much as a kid, the spark to create has always been there. For decades, I’ve dreamed of publishing a picture book. Instead, I shared my stories the old-fashioned way: as handmade books, birthday cards, and holiday surprises for family and friends.
Whether it was crafting a rhyme, designing a page, or folding a bit of magic into the mailbox, I found joy in making things that felt personal and meaningful.
That same spirit runs through everything I do—writing books, building living art planters, turning ideas into art, and bringing imagination to life in ways big and small. My rescue dog Buddy is one of my biggest inspirations—his journey from shelter pup to therapy dog is at the heart of my first published book, SomeBuddy.
